Hakone- November 2005 In early November we headed north to Hakone (near Mt. Fuji) to attend the annual Church Planters' Conference. Before it started, we took Rick Tamashiro and Kevin Doi to Owakidani to try their famous "black eggs." These are hard-boiled eggs cooked in a natural hot-spring. The sulfer in the hot spring turns the eggs a black color and gives them a slight salty flavor. |
